GST-correct fee invoices, worked out for you.
Raise a fee invoice against a project stage and the GST is worked out for you. The place of supply starts as the client's state and can be set to the property's state: if it matches your studio's state it charges CGST 9% and SGST 9%; if not, IGST 18%. Each line carries a SAC code — 998322 for residential architecture, 998323 for non-residential, 998391 for interior design — and the invoice number follows the GST rule: a running serial, unique for the financial year, no longer than 16 characters (for example SRA/2026-27/0001). The total is written out in words in lakh and crore, and the invoice downloads as a PDF. Mark it sent, then paid, and the money owed updates everywhere.
