Know which project is eating its budget before the client asks.

Record each expense against a project — amount, category (materials, labour, travel, permits, consultants, misc), date, vendor and an optional receipt. Every project shows its spend against the budget as a bar that turns amber as it nears the limit and red when it goes over. Filter by category or month to see where the money went.
